hi there.

Welcome to my blog. I'm spending a year capturing happiness, and I invite you to come along as I journey toward a more joyful living. I also write about travel, food, and matters of the spirit. Hope you enjoy!

Freedom!

Freedom!

Happy 4th of July, my friends.

I'm going to call my joyful moment now, a little on the early side, because I had a great morning--despite going to bed at 1am and waking up (pre-alarm) at 5am. Anxiousness, I think. But the excited kind.

This morning I taught at the gym, the first time in a while. I got there early for 8am Body Pump (taught excellently by Sarah D), and then I was up for Body Attack/Step combo. I'm not sure such thing has ever been attempted before --EVER! In all of history!*--and I was worried my quick practice yesterday wouldn't be the same as narrating a full class whilst tuck jumping.

*at least in my mind

Nevertheless, it worked! My class was AWESOME. They were all high energy and gung ho for all the high intensity options. AND their form was stellar! I didn't have to spend time coaching them, and instead I could just encourage them to sing. That's much better, right?

Anyhow: it was a great way to kick off this holiday. The cover photo is Three Jen's and a Naia (which is just fun to say). Thanks for the opportunity to sub, and for enduring my bad jokes.

And cheers to Freedom :)
