We spent our day in Iceland at Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa 50km outside of Reykjavik, surrounded by lava and full of silica deposits that reflects light as a brilliant baby blue. It's listed as one of the 25 Wonders of the World, and there's no question it belongs there. It's amazing.
Instead of racing around to complete scavenges, we decided to get to the Blue Lagoon as soon as possible (it was completely booked online--I only checked because M-Dogg recommended it and I didn't realize it was a scavenge based on its Icelandic name!) and relax and go from there.
And relax we did!
We met up with another team, TSA Pre-Check Yourself, and they are so much fun to hang out with. We did silica masks and mud masks and drank smoothies and just allowed ourselves to unwind after a crazy three weeks.
It was perfect.
And now, my friends, we are headed back to America! See you soon :)
