MY OWN ROOM
Praise be to God in Heaven!!
Bill and Pamela (the organizers) decided to give me my own room for our final night overseas, and I AM SO HAPPY! (No offense to Mark; he's a good roommate and all, but I'm just really, really delighted right now.)
The room technically belonged to Lawyers Without Borders had they been able to stay in the competition. I am sad to not have them here, but good deeds have been done in their name.
So, thank you to Zoe and Rainy for affording me this opportunity to have my first night in three weeks in my own room, with my own bathroom, and without snoring(!!)
The other great thing that happened was I that I had the best hot chocolate in all the world. It was a Dark Hot Chocolate, and I'm fairly certain the only ingredients were 1. Melted dark chocolate bar 2. heavy cream.
AND they gave me a free chocolate bon bon with my purchase!
The Dublin Airport is the Best, and Butlers Chocolate Cafe is the place to be. (They truly are "Purveyors of happiness".)
PS. We're in Iceland right now. That's pretty rad, too.
