Today, my happy moment was very simple.
I woke up early and went to the gym to do "Jenny Spin" (it's like spin class, but by myself...with my own mix of music), and I felt so energized afterwards--ready to start my day. So as a reward, when I headed off to work, I treated myself to some Icelandic chocolate that I kindly received as a souvenir from a friend's recent trip. It's Toffee-Chocolate with Sea Salt, if you can imagine, and it tastes even better than it sounds.
I'm grateful for the kind gift, that someone knew chocolate was the key to my heart, and also that I got to eat some at 10 a.m. without feeling too guilty!
Also! I came home from work to find a book in the mail! This is one I did not order, but one that a friend thought I would enjoy. BOOKS IN THE MAIL THAT I DID NOT PURCHASE OR EXPECT. That is truly exciting!
(It's been a good week for me so far in regard to mailed surprises. Thanks, y'all!)
Note: The cover photo today is an image of Iceland, which I found on this website.
