For a few years, I've supported the Arkansas Children's Hospital (although I'm not sure how that came about since I'm nowhere near Arkansas), and every Valentine's Day they do something special for the kids there.
On February 14th, they shower their patients with love in the form of cards from people all over the United States, and potentially all over the world.
It's so easy to take part in. They have a website, and on this website there are four card designs. You choose the design you like, choose the message you want (or write your own), and "sign" your name. It takes 60 seconds, and it brightens the kids' day.
I shared the link online, and a few of my friends told me they sent cards, too. One of my friends, a teacher, even shared the link with his students so they could participate, too--which I thought was THE coolest idea! And it makes me so happy that people are making other people happy. :)
So, this blog goes out all the children in the hospital today. I hope they have the happiest Valentine's Day :).
