Prayer Team & Ice Cream
It has finally happened!!!! I got to try Mike's Ice, a Providence food truck that serves Vietnamese style ice cream. Granted, I don't recall seeing this when I was in Vietnam, but I'm happy to take their word for it because it's delicious! And comes out looking like a masterpiece.
I'm so happy to have shared the experience with two friends who were in the area visiting from Warwick (they'd actually just come from Bayberry, based on my recommendation in Motif Magazine!)-- and I'm fully convinced that ice cream tastes better when enjoyed with friends. <--meaning both real people and the television show.
Bonus: you get to share flavors with friends. I got pumpkin spice and think it was my favorite (of Oreo and Strawberry Cheesecake).
But a more profound gratitude today was the fact that I have the best friends in the entire world. When I texted them in the midst of an urgent need for prayer for someone, they all whole heartedly stepped in and offered their prayers. One of my friends even offered to pray with me over the phone during my lunch break. I can't express how much peace it gave to my soul to know that I was not alone in this intercessory prayer, and I believe it made a difference. My love just overflows for this community I live in.
So, to ALL Y'ALL*: I love you and thank you.
